ZOO National Geographic is a dashboard for zoo animals tracking system, that collects and documents animals’ behavioral data.

The Creative Challenge
The main goal was to design a sleek layout interface, which will allow to collect data and track the zoo animals, while taking National Geographic branding language into account.

Visual Design
The design process included building a brand identity that is based on the National Geographic brand, along with creating a functional, simple and readable design, that appeals to the target users.

Data Visualization
Simplify the graphs’ design by selecting the best method to visualizied each data. The yellow color is used for the important information to stand out, while maintaining a consistent design between the different information areas.

Articles Layout
Stunning, eye-catching photos combines harmonically with highly readable and lean fonts, to attract users attention.
Responsive Design
The design is flexible so users can view data on any screen size and device.

Color Palette
The palette accents echos the color of National Geographic brand. For the main graph there was a need to use different colors to add a notion of levels, while staying consistent with the brand.

A typography new part was added to the National Geographic original logo to present the new tracker brand name.
