The Creative Challenge
The challenges I faced during the redesign of INSTAX mini website, included studying the targeted audience, designing a cross-platform responsive experience, and adding a new shopping section.
Visual Design
The camera design is modern and unique, so I wanted its website design to be young, fresh and chic. The layout is airy and light with bright colors and trendy fonts.
Homepage Components
The Design is based on big colorful images, taken from daily life, to increase users empathy and solidarity.
The images’ composition use interesting cuts, perspectives and angles along with clear, short easy to read texts, to suit the target audience.
Features Interaction
To understand the camera features better, the user taps on the pink dots and more information about the feature opens next to it.
“Related Products” Information Cards
The “Related Products” design is inspired by Polaroid pictures.
“Add To Cart” Area
The design is simple and clean. The main information stands out by typography to establish user’s trust and website’s reliability.
The component layout is designed to appear above the fold on all platforms as it is the most important part of the page.
Accessories Section
Clear and simple design with only the relevant information, makes it easy for the users to buy more items.
Responsive Design
The design is flexible to suit any screen size and platform.

Target Market Research
The target market for INSTAX mini are generation Z girls, aged 13-24, who love accessories, brands and gadgets, and are affected by online trend-setters. They are digital natives, but have short attention span.
Color Palette
A solid black & white palette in order to give the focus to the bright colorful photos and camera pastel colors. Pink was added, as it a feminine and emotional color, and used to emphasize the important elements.
Iconography
Design of an icons set, all in one style to suit the visual design.
All icons are legible for various devices.
